Make Your Voice Heard: Submit a Poster Presentation Today!

We invite you to join us at the Annual Symposium August 29 - September 1, 2024! We are currently accepting submissions for poster presentations related to oncology, care delivery, quality improvement, professional development, and other related topics. If your proposal is accepted, you will receive a complimentary Symposium registration! We look forward to seeing you there!

At the 27th Annual Oncology Symposium for Healthcare Providers hosted by APAO, posters will be displayed to promote professional education. Everyone is encouraged to present new clinical practices or research results at the Symposium. Please be sure to review these guidelines for submissions:

  • All abstracts must be submitted by July 12, 2024, for consideration as a poster.
  • All abstracts must not exceed 250 words.
  • All abstracts must have at least three (3) learning objectives.
  • Proposals submitted to APAO may not be a forum for the promotion of commercial products. Any proprietary interest in the material presented must be indicated on the application in the abstract. If the proposal is accepted for presentation, the author will be required to disclose the proprietary information to the audience.
  • All authors are required to complete the disclosure section upon acceptance to present. If presenters are to be listed in the final program, they MUST complete disclosure forms.
  • All poster submissions are reviewed by the Symposium Planning Committee for clarity, goals and learner outcomes, scientific rationale, and level of anticipated interest.
  • Posters will be presented on Friday, August 30, 5:15 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. Presenters are required to be present.
  • Poster presenters must register for the Symposium. If your poster is accepted, the lead presenter will receive a FREE Symposium registration.

Poster boards will be provided by APAO. Boards are eight (8) feet wide and four (4) feet high. We strongly suggest that your poster be printed with a light-colored background.

The primary/submitting author will receive an email message confirming the acceptance or rejection status of the abstract. Accepted presenters will be notified by July 29, 2024.
