Cancer treatment is multifaceted. A recurring focus involves optimizing treatment with quality of life. Dysphagia from esophageal cancer can be debilitating. In cases that are not good candidates for surgical resection, palliative endoscopic options exist. One of these options is tumor debulking by cryotherapy. Increasingly, reports show positive results that are promising to improve patient quality of life.
